Your Questions, Answered

  • We’ve seen far too many customers come to us after going with big-name companies that rushed the job—leading to scratched paint, improper prep, or even rust from not priming the vehicle correctly. Those kinds of mistakes can cost thousands down the road, and we make sure they never happen by taking the time to do the job right.

We also offer mobile service, mobile static and dynamic ADAS calibrations, and even free pick-up and delivery, giving you convenience most companies can’t match. Using high-quality materials and backed by great reviews, we stand behind every job and treat your vehicle like it’s our own.

  • Most windshield replacements range from $350 to $950, with the average around $400–$500 for standard vehicles.

Prices can be higher for newer vehicles with advanced safety features, but insurance often covers most or all of the cost.

It’s also important to be careful when comparing prices. We’ve seen far too many customers choose the cheapest option with big-name companies, only to deal with rushed work—like scratched paint, improper prep, or even rust from not priming the vehicle correctly. Those kinds of mistakes can cost thousands down the road. That’s why we focus on quality workmanship first, so the job is done right the first time and doesn’t end up costing you more later.

  • Our chip repair service is a flat rate of $150 per chip and an additional $65 for any other chips wished to be filled on that same windshield, with no hidden fees.

In many cases, chip repair is much more affordable than a full windshield replacement and it can prevent the damage from spreading, saving you money in the long run.

  • Yes! We work with all insurance companies. We’re registered with all major providers and are also able to handle claims with smaller insurance companies as well.

Most importantly, you have the right to choose who works on your vehicle—your insurance company cannot require you to use a specific shop. We’re happy to guide you through the claims process and even handle the paperwork to make everything quick and hassle-free.

  • We use high-quality glass manufactured by the same companies that produce OEM (original equipment) glass for most vehicles. This means you’re getting almost the same level of quality and safety standards, just not always branded as OEM.

If you’re going through insurance and have a newer vehicle or prefer OEM glass, we can request OEM approval from your insurance company on your behalf.

If you’re paying out of pocket, we can absolutely install OEM glass upon request! You would just be responsible for the price difference.

Our goal is to give you the best combination of quality, safety, and value, with options that fit your needs.

  • Yes! We offer both mobile service and in-shop appointments, so you can choose what’s most convenient for you.

Our mobile service allows us to come directly to your home, workplace, or wherever your vehicle is located. If weather conditions (like extreme cold, rain, or snow) aren’t suitable for safely replacing your windshield outdoors, we also provide a free pick-up and delivery service. We’ll pick up your vehicle, bring it to our shop for replacement and any necessary calibration, and return it right back to you—at no extra cost.

We also perform ADAS calibrations, including both static and dynamic calibrations. Unlike many companies, we’re equipped to complete mobile static calibrations in addition to dynamic ones. Meaning in many cases, there’s no need to bring your vehicle in or leave it overnight.

Our goal is to make the entire process as easy, flexible, and hassle-free as possible.

  • The time can vary depending on your vehicle and the type of service, but chip repairs usually take about 15–20 minutes.

For windshield replacements, the replacement itself typically takes 45 minutes to an hour, and if your vehicle requires ADAS calibration, it can add an additional 15–30 minutes.

In most cases, the entire process is completed in under an hour and a hlaf, and our goal is to get you safely back on the road as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • If you’re in urgent need of a windshield, side, quarter, or tempered glass repair/replacement, we’ll do our absolute best to get your glass and service you as quickly as possible. While we can’t always guarantee same-day service—depending on how busy we are—it never hurts to give us a call to see if we can accommodate your request that day.

As a small, family-owned business, we typically offer faster scheduling and turnaround times than larger national companies, so chances are we can get you taken care of quickly and conveniently.

  • We proudly provide mobile auto glass services throughout Northern Illinois, with our primary service areas including Rochelle, Dixon, and DeKalb.

We also frequently travel to surrounding communities such as Elgin, Sandwich, Hinckley, Big Rock, Elburn, Sugar Grove, and Aurora.

If you’re located nearby but don’t see your city listed, feel free to reach out! There’s a good chance we can still come to you. We’re a mobile service, so we do our best to accommodate customers wherever they are!

  • Most windshield chips can be repaired if the damage is small enough—generally, if the entire chip and any cracks, “legs,” or rays can be covered by a quarter (the largest we can typically handle is about the size of a half-dollar).

If the damage is larger than that, the resin used in chip repair may not fully penetrate the cracks or legs, and a full windshield replacement would be necessary.

It’s also important to note that, while rare, chip repairs can sometimes spread and turn into a crack. We always inform our customers of this possibility before performing any repair so you can make an informed decision.

  • Yes—while we always do our absolute best to make the chip as invisible as possible, the final appearance can vary depending on how the chip is formed and how easily the resin can penetrate the cracks.

We take extra steps to ensure the resin reaches as much of the chip and cracks as possible, but it’s important to understand that the main purpose of a chip repair is to prevent the damage from spreading, rather than to restore perfect cosmetic appearance.

  • Yes, we recalibrate ADAS systems! We go a step further than many other companies. We perform both mobile static and dynamic calibrations, which means we can complete the calibration right at your location.

Most other shops require you to bring your vehicle in (or even leave it overnight) for static calibrations. With our mobile equipment and software, you can save time and get back on the road quickly, without the hassle.

  • Yes! We offer a no-hassle warranty on both our glass and our workmanship.

If a chip repair we perform ends up spreading, we’ll apply the amount you paid for the chip toward a full windshield replacement.

In rare cases, if you experience stress cracks, leaks, unusual noises, calibration issues, or any other workmanship problems, we will fix it at no cost.

Our goal is to give you peace of mind. You can trust that the work we do is backed by our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

  • We replace much more than just windshields. Our services include roof glass, side door glass, quarter glass, semi-truck glass, RV glass, and heavy equipment/construction glass.

No matter the type of vehicle or glass, we have the experience and equipment to get the job done safely and correctly.
